SALLY BARLOW SMITH

   WINTER PARK, FLA. - Sally Barlow Smith, 86, a former teacher in the Norfolk 
public schools, died March 21.

   Mrs. Smith, an Isle of Wight County native, was a Baptist and a graduate of 
Longwood College.  She was the widow of Forester M. Smith.

   Survivors include two daughters, Patricia S. Wagner of Altamonte, Fla., and 
Sally S. Miller of Catlett; a sister, Ethel B. Culton of Newport News; and 
seven grandchildren.

   The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Colonial Funeral Home, 
Smithfield, by the Rev. Donald Rhoton.  Burial will be in Ivy Hill Cemetery, 
Smithfield.  The family will meet at the home of Mrs. Gordon E. Barlow, 
Smithfield, at 10:15 a.m. today.  Memorial donations may be made to the 
American Cancer Society.
