LEE SAUNDERS BURIED SATURDAY A. Lee Saunders, 70, prominent resident of Windsor and a native of Nansemond County, died suddenly last Thursday at 5:33 o'clock. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. McDaniel Rucker of Richmond, and Miss Nellie L. Saunders of the faculty of Maury High School, Norfolk; a son, Lee Harry Saunders of Linden, N.J.; two grandchildren, Van and Nancy Rucker of Richmond; three brothers, W.G. Saunders, of Nansemond, Thomas J. Saunders of Everett, and Richard Saunders of Suffolk, and two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Saunders of Richmond, and Mrs. R.M. Ashburn of Suffolk. The funeral was held at Windsor Christian Church Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Dr. N.G. Goodman and Rev. J. Sidney Cobb. Burial was in Windsor.
