Saunders Buried At Ivor A funeral service for Mrs. Mary A. Saunders, 71, who died at her home in Ivor, Monday morning, was held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., at the home. Burial was in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery, near Ivor. She was one of the oldest members of the Ivor Baptist Church and was active in its work, serving as secretary for the Women's Missionary Society of the church for more than 25 years. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard H. Pulley, of Ivor; two sons, Homer A. Saunders, of Ivor, and Thomas A. Saunders, Jr., of Norfolk; two stepsons, Leander T. Saunders, of Ivor, and Cofer C. Saunders, of Perry Point, Md.; nine grandchildren, a great grandchild and a brother, James Q. Bell, of Mullins, S.C. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. M. A. Saunders Of Ivor Buried Wed., Feb. 18th Mrs. Mary Ada Saunders, 71, of Ivor, widow of I.A. Saunders, died Monday, February 16th, at her home after an illness of several weeks. A daughter of the late Robert P. and Sarah Gillette Bell, of Southampton County, she was one of the oldest members of the Ivor Baptist Church and served as secretary of the Woman's Missionary Society of the Church for more than 25 years. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard H. Pulley of Ivor; two sons, Homer S. Saunders, Thomas H. Saunders Jr. of Norfolk, and two step-sons, Leander T. Saunders of Ivor, and Cofer C. Saunders of Perry Point, Md.; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother, James Q. Bell of Mullins, S.C. Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday at 2:30 P.M. conducted by the Rev. Thomas N. Tombes. Interment was in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery, near Ivor.
