Stephen Saunders Of Windsor Dies 

  Stephen Lee Saunders, 91, a lifelong resident of Windsor, died at 10:15 AM 
at Richmond after a short illness. 

  He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dora L. Cones, of Suffolk; one son, 
J.D. Saunders of Windsor; one sister, Mrs. Polly Atkins, of Myrtle; 12 
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

  The funeral procession left the Roberts and Johnson Funeral Home at 
Smithfield Tuesday at 2:30 PM for Windsor Cemetery, where services were 
conducted at 3 o'clock by Dr. N.G. Newman, retired Baptist minister, assisted 
by the Rev. T. Fred Wright of Isle of Wight Christian charge.
