MRS. PAULINE U. SAWYER 

  NORFOLK - Mrs. Pauline Uzzell Sawyer, 45, of 504 Manteo St. died Tuesday 
in her home. 

  A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a daughter of Willie and Mrs. 
Evie Stephenson Uzzell, the wife of Harvey Sawyer, and a member of Grace 
Tabernacle Church, of Hopewell. 

  Besides her husband, she is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Hugh Horner and 
Mrs. Harvey Glass of Hopewell, Mrs. E.M. Luter and Mrs. Jesse Britt of Zuni, 
and Mrs. Lizzie Joyner of Ivor. 

  The body was taken to Pruviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, where a funeral 
service will be held today at 4 p.m. by the Rev. R.C. Worley. Burial will be 
in Antioch Church Cemetery near Windsor.
