Burial will be in Ivy Hill Cemetery. The body was taken today to her home at Newport News where it will remain from 4 to 6 p.m. The body will be returned to Bullock Funeral Home. Miss Thompson, 75, died Tuesday afternoon in Mary Immaculate Hospital Newport News, after a long illness. A native of Isle of Wight County, she lived in Newport News the last five years. She was retired from Home Telephone Co. after serving as chief operator 30 years. In recent years she was a florist's agent. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Fulgham of Newport News and Mrs. W. Clarence Harrell of Hampton.
