A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the daughter of the late Mills Thomas and Indiana Carr Barrett. Mrs. Tomlin was a member of Ivor United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret T. Felts of Ivor; a son, Mills T. Tomlin Sr. of Suffolk; a brother, Emmett G. Barrett of Zuni; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Jess V. Staton. Burial will be in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive visitors Saturday from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Ivor Volunteer Rescue Squad or the memorial fund of the church.
