All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Windsor Resident Succumbs at 70 Miniard Leonard Thorne, 70, well-known resident and farmer of Isle of Wight County and the Windsor Community, died this morning at the Lakeview Hospital after several days illness. He was the son of the late Henry and Mary Johnson Thorne of Isle of Wight County, and was a member of the Antioch Christian Church of Windsor. Mr. Thorne is survived by two sons, E.L. and W.T. Thorne of Norfolk; two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the Holland Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
