DONALD E. TRUMP 

  Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Donald Ellsworth Trump, 86, died Oct. 16, 2000, 
in Southampton Memorial Hospital. 

  Born in Allentown, Pa., he was the son of the late Julius and Katie Trump. 
He received bachelor degrees from University of Richmond and Southern 
Seminary.  He was a military chaplain for 28 years and a member and former 
pastor of Colosse Baptist Church and former pastor of Great Neck Baptist 
Church, Virginia Beach, and South Quay Baptist Church. 

  Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Bertie Etheridge Trump; a daughter, 
Diane Drake and husband, William, of Hawaii; four sons, Donald Trump and wife, 
Jane, of Norfolk, Dexter Trump and wife, Debbie, of Franklin, Douglas Trump of 
New Hampshire and Dale Trump and wife, Wesley, of Elm City, N.C.; 14 
grandchildren, John and Adam Parker, Amber, Cheryl, Christine and Sarah Trump, 
Darcy Cox, Mark, Aaron and Carmen Trump, Douglas Trump, Cary, Michael and Avery 
Trump; three great-grandchildren, Nila, Andrew and Brittany Trump.  He is also 
survived by a sister-in-law, Ruth Trump Davis; a niece, Elaine Murphy; and 
three nephews, Arthur Trump Jr., Jack Trump and Bruce Schmickley, all of 
Maryland.  He was predeceased by a sister, Octavia Cross and three brothers, 
Harold Schmickley, Arthur Trump and Malcolm Trump. 

  A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Colosse Baptist Church by the 
Revs. Lee Bowers and Steve Bradshaw.  Burial with military honors will be in 
the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 
p.m. at Wright Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Colosse Baptist 
Church, 6361 Rhodes Drive, Windsor, VA 23487.
