MRS. BESSIE TURNER 

  WINDSOR - Mrs. Bessie Hall Turner, 78, died Thursday at 8:30 p.m. in Louise 
Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk, after illness of several weeks. 

  A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a member of Windsor Christian 
Church and a life member of the Martha S. Persons Bible Class. 

  She was the widow of Howard Wallace Turner and a daughter of Wiley W. and 
Mrs. Etta Harrison Hall. 

  Surviving are two foster sisters, Miss Violet Griffin and Mrs. Hattie 
Griffin Fitton of Windsor; and three foster brothers, Charles D. Griffin of 
Suffolk, and J.C. Griffin and Harry M. Griffin of Windsor. 

  A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Windsor Christian 
Church by the Rev. Arthur Knauer and the Rev. William A. Grissom.  Burial 
will be in Windsor Cemetery. 

  The body will be taken from I.O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home to the church 
at 1 p.m. Saturday.
