JAMES CASSIE TURNER 

   CARRSVILLE - A funeral service for J. Cassie Turner, 96, was held Wednesday 
at 3 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Revs. Donald T. Trump and 
Cafer Marley.  Burial was in Mount Carmel Christian Church Cemetery.

   Turner died Monday in a hospital.

   A native of Carrsville, he was the husband of Evie Lowe Turner; and a 
member of Mount Carmel Christian Church.  He was a retired farmer.

   Other survivors include two daughters, Virginia Duck of Carrsville and Mary 
Stephenson if Ivor; a sister, Callie T. Duck of Carrsville; a brother, Robert 
L. Turner of Windsor; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
