EVIE LOWE TURNER 

   CARRSVILLE - A funeral service for Evie Lowe Turner, 84, was held at 3 p.m. 
Tuesday in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Revs. Robert Bennett and 
Cafer Marley.  Burial was in Mount Carmel Christian Church Cemetery, Walters.

   Mrs. Turner died Saturday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Southampton County, she was the widow of J. Cassie Turner.  She 
was a member of Mount Carmel Christian Church and its Women's Fellowship 
Circle.

   Survivors include two daughters, Virginia T. Duck of Carrsville and Mary T. 
Stephenson of Ivor; a sister, Mrs. S.L. Joyner Sr., and two brothers, Fenton 
Lowe and Harvey Lowe, all of Franklin; two grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.
