Main St., died Apr. 10, in a Gloucester nursing home. Mrs. Turner was a native of Isle of Wight County and a member of First Baptist Church, Main Street. She was the widow of Vernon Lafayette Turner. Survivors include three daughters, Thelma Hawley of Gloucester, Ellen Yewcic of Williamsburg and Mary Stanley of Virginia Beach; four sons, Vernon Turner of Suffolk, Raymond Turner of Atlanta, and David Turner and Wayne Turner, both of Newport News; two sisters, Mrs. Annis Moore and Olivia Jurscaga, both of Newport News; 13 grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. The funeral was conducted Monday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles Thompson. Burial was in Whiteheads Grove Baptist Cemetery Grace Elizabeth (NURNEY; Mrs. Vernon L.)
