JAMES RAY TURNER 

  Funeral services for James Ray Turner, 20 month old son of James Clifton who 
died at the Buxton Hospital Saturday morning were held Sunday afternoon at 4 
o'clock at the grave in Mill Swamp Cemetery.

  Rev. L.F. Paulette the officiating minister, read a scripture from the Bible 
after which a beautiful prayer was rendered.

  Active pallbearers were Wilson and Thomas Bell, S.H. Crumpler and Rob 
Faison.  Members of the family served as honorary pallbearers.

  The casket was covered with a spray of pink gladiolas and white dahlias and 
there were numerous other floral tributes.

  Besides his father he is survived by two sisters, Wilma Elizabeth and 
Margaret Edwards and one brother, Joseph Clifton Turner.
