Turner, 56, prominent farmer and retired merchant of Colosse, died suddenly at his home Saturday night. He was superintendent of Colosse* Baptist Church Sunday School for many years and deacon for many years, member of Beech Camp No. 186 Woodmen of the World, of Walters. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at Colosse Baptist Church at 3 o'clock by the Rev. Rufus Corbitt, assisted by the Rev. J. Sidney Cobb, the Rev. H.E. Crutchfield and Beacher Rhodes. Burial was in the church cemetery.
