REUBEN N. TURNER 

  Reuben N. Turner, 74, prominent farmer of Isle of Wight County, died 
Thursday morning at his home near Zuni, at 1:40 o'clock, after a short 
illness.  Surviving him are two children, Mrs. Mary Lou Parker, of Zuni, and 
Dr. J.F. Turner, of Norfolk; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 
He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Mt. Carmel 
Christian Church, in which he had long held membership, conducted by the Rev. 
W.R. Butler, the Rev. Vernon Fisher, and the Rev. S.K, Emurian.  Burial was 
in the church cemetery.
