A native of Isle of Wight County, she is also survived by another daughter, Mrs. Percy Rife of Rushmere; four sons, Letcher T. Uzzell, of Newport News, Otney Uzzell and Melvin Uzzell, both of Zuni, and Jack Uzzell of Windsor; three sisters, Mrs. V.R. Uzzell of Suffolk, Mrs. Annie Oberry of Windsor, and Mrs. Lillian Atkins of Isle of Wight County, 16 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 tomorrow afternoon in Pine Grove Tabernacle, Isle of Wight County, with the Rev. W.M. Dulebaum, pastor of the Assembly of God Tabernacle, Newport news, officiating. Burial will be in Central Hill Church Cemetery, Isle of Wight County. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Clara Uzzell I-W Native, Dead SMITHFIELD - Mrs. Clara Bland Uzzell, 82, died today at Riverside Hospital, Newport News. She was a native of Isle of Wight County but had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Clara Hargrave of Warwick for the past two years. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Hargrave and Mrs. Percy Rife of Smithfield, four sons, Letcher T. Uzzell of Newport News, Otney O. Uzzell of Zuni, Melvin M. Uzzell and W. Jack Uzzell, both of Windsor, 16 grandchildren, seven great-grand children. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at three o’clock at Pine Grove Assembly of God Church by the Rev. V.M. Dulabaun of the Gospel Tabernacle of Newport News, assisted by the Rev. Kent Reckley of Pine Grove Church. Burial will be in Central Hill Church Cemetery in Isle of Wight County. The body will be taken from the Jones funeral home to the church at one o’clock. The pallbearers Harvey Crocker, Jodie Lee Atkins, L. R. UZZELL BURIED JULY 25 AT CENTRAL HILL Mrs. Clara Bland Uzzell, 82, died July 23rd in the Riverside Hospital, Newport News. A native of Isle of Wight County she had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Clara Hargrave of Warwick for the past two years. Surviving besides Mrs. Hargrave are another daughter, Mrs. Percy Rife, of Smithfield; four sons, Letcher T. Uzzell of Newport News; Otney O. Uzzell of Zuni; Melvin M. Uzzell and W. Jack Uzzell of Windsor; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Pine Grove Assembly of God Church. The Rev. V.M. Dulabaun, pastor of the Gospel Taberacle, Newport News, conducted the services. He was assisted by the Rev. Kent M. Reckley, of the Pine Grove Church. Burial was in Central Hill Church Cemetery, Isle of Wight County. The body was taken from the Hones Funeral Home in Smithfield to the church at 1 p.m. Pallbearers were Harvey Crocker, Jodie Lee Atkins, L.R.
