STALEY M. UZZELL 

  ZUNI - Staley Mills Uzzell, 59, a native of Isle of Wight County, died 
Sunday morning in a Newport News hospital. 

  He was a son of Willie and Mrs. Evie Uzzell and the husband of Mrs. Eugene 
Munford Uzzell. 

  He was a retired farmer. 

  Besides his widow, surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Ethel Horner and Mrs. 
Nellie Glass of Hopewell, Mrs. Pauline Sawyer of Richmond, Mrs. Maggie Luter 
and Mrs. Beulah Britt of Zuni and Mrs. Lizzie Joyner of Ivor. 

  A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Purviance Funeral Home, 
Wakefield, by the Rev. Harry B. Christie.  Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.

Staley Mills Uzzell 

  Zuni - Staley Mills Uzzell, 59, a native of Isle of Wight County and a 
retired farmer, died Sunday afternoon in a Newport News hospital.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eugene Munford Uzzell of Zuni; and six 
sisters, Mrs. Ethel U. Horner and Mrs. Nellie U. Glass, both of Hopewell; 
Mrs. Pauline Sawyer of Richmond; Mrs. Maggie Luter and Mrs. Beulah Britt, 
both of Zuni; and Mrs. Lizzie U. Joyner of Ivor.

  Funeral services will be held at 4 pm on Tuesday at Purviance Funeral 
Chapel in Wakefield with Rev. H.B. Christie, pastor of Bethany Presbyterian 
Church, officiating.  Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery near Windsor.
