All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ERMA LEE VAUGHAN Miss Erma Lee Vaughan, age 61 years, resident of Franklin for a number of years, died Saturday night in a Williamsburg hospital after suffering ill health for many years. Miss Vaughan was the daughter of the late James A. and Cornelia Scott Vaughan of Isle of Wight County. A member of the Franklin Baptist Church. Surviving her is one sister, Mrs. Beryl Vaughan Boone of South Norfolk, five nephews and one niece. Remains were taken to the funeral home of W.J.M. Holland and Sons of Franklin pending funeral arrangements. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at graveside Beaver Dam Church cemetery. Rev. Ira D. Hudgins and Rev. Edwin C. Thornton officiated. Pallbearers were L.B. Norfleet, J. Letcher Eley, Leigh Johnson, Emerson P. Jones, John F. Duke, Jr., and Hersey Scott.
