Spivey, early Friday. She was the widow of Benjamin A. Vaughan and a daughter of John and Parthenia Spivey Coggin of Isle of Wight County. She was one of the oldest members of Colosse Baptist Church and the Woman’s Missionary Society. Besides her daughter she is survived by a son, Benjamin F. Vaughan of Windsor; a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Carr of Carrsville; and a grandchild. The body was taken to W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin. A funeral service was held in Holland Funeral Chapel Sunday at 4 p.m. by the Rev. Donald E. Trump of Colosse Baptist Church. Burial was in Colosse Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Grayson Allen, Dr. Clem C. Crossland, Howard J. Elliott, Rawlston Rhodes, John A. Spivey, Melvin Spivey, Benjamin C. Spivey, Robert L. Turner.
