Mrs. Mary P. Volpe 

  WALTERS - Mrs. Mary Powell Volpe, 74, of Route 1, died Monday in her home. 

  She was a native of Isle of Wight County and the widow of Ben Volpe.  She 
was a member of Antioch Christian Church, Windsor. 

  Survivors include one daughter, Miss Genevieve Mary Volpe of Norfolk; one 
son, William S. Hart of Hillside, N.J.; one grandson, Volpe M. Boykin of 
Norfolk. 

  A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Antioch Christian 
Church by the Rev. Cooper Abrams and the Rev. Lindsey Poteat.  Burial will 
be held in Antioch Church Cemetery, Windsor. 

  Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge of arrangements.
