He was the son of Joseph Donald and Mrs. Cora Barkley Weaver of Carrsville. Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Holland and Mrs. Peggy Rose of Windsor, Mrs. Doris Rhodes of Suffolk, and Misses Cheryl and Patricia Weaver of Carrsville; and three brothers, Joseph D. Weaver, Jr., and William F. Weaver of Norfolk, and Jerry M. Weaver of the US Air Force in Germany. Funeral services for Mr. Weaver were conducted in the chapel of W.J.M. Holland & Sons on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock by Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, pastor of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Burial was in Beaver Dam Cemetery. Pallbearers were Billy Bryant, Wilson Butler, Linwood Duck, J.F. Duke, Jr., L.E. Gardner, Jr., and J.E.
