IDA ESSIE REBECCA CARR WADE 

   Mrs. Ida Essie Rebecca Wade, 63, died November 1, at 3:45 p.m. at the home 
of her daughter, Mrs. J.A. Womble, Holland, after a short illness.

   She was the daughter of the late T.J. and Martha Ann Carr of Isle of Wight 
County.  She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church where she served for 
many years.

   She is survived by four daughters; Mrs. J.A. Womble, Holland: Mrs. T.E. 
Whiddon and Miss Adell Wade, Norfolk; Mrs. B.W. Coffman, Newport, R.I., two 
sons, Clifton Wade, U.S. Navy, Jacksonville, Fla., and F.R. Wade, Norfolk; ten 
grandchildren, seven brothers, J.A., T.J., Bennie, Willie, Charlie, Crawley 
and Fenton Carr; three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Carr, Mrs. Dannie Carr and Mrs. 
Viola Hall all of Walters.

   Funeral services were held Saturday November 3, at 2:30 p.m. at Mount 
Carmel Christian Church by the Rev. T. Fred Wright, assisted by Rev. W.B. 
Watson.

   Burial was in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers were her brothers.
