WALTER V. WHITE

WALTER V. WHITE DIES AT HOPEWELL RESIDENCE

   Walter V. White died last Tuesday, December 16th at his residence No. 3 North 
Fifth Avenue, Hopewell, Va., age 75 years, 4 mon.  Funeral services were held 
Thursday morning December 18th at 10:00 at the Hopewell Christian Church of 
which he was a charter member by Rev. D.D. Nash, assisted by Rev. W.S. Lenke 
pastor of the First Baptist Church.

   Burial was made in Ivory Hill cemetery, Smithfield, Va.

   Mr. White is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen M. Everett of Smithfield 
and Mrs. Alice M. White of Hopewell, Va., four sons G.C. White of Carson, Va., 
L.P. and R.V. White of Hopewell, Va. and J.N. White of Palmer, Va., one brother 
J.M. White of Newport News, Va., thirty grandchildren and two great 
grandchildren.
