HENRY JAMES WHITLEY 

  WINDSOR -- Henry James Whitley, 60, of RFD 3, died at 12:10 a.m. today. 

  He was a native of Isle of Wight County and owned and operated the Gulf 
Service Station in Windsor.  He was a member of Woodland Methodist Church. 

  He was the husband of Mrs. Effie Braswell Whitley and son of Wesley and 
Mrs. Maude Griffin Whitley of Isle of Wight. 

  Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Stephen James Whitley of 
Smithield, and Garland Seward Whitey of Windsor; four brothers, Jack W. 
Whitley of Suffolk; Alton Whitley, Smithfield; Robert Whitley, Windsor; 
William Whitley, Kinston, N.C.; and four grandchildren. 

  Funeral services will beheld at 2 p.m. Wednesday in I.O. Hill and Co. 
Funeral Home conducted by Dr. R.E. Brittle and the Rev. Richard T. Squires. 
Burial will be in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery.

  Funeral services for Henry James Whitley, who died Monday, were conducted 
at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the I.O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home by Dr. R.E. Brittle 
and the Rev. Richard T. Squires.  Burial was in Antioch Christian Church 
Cemetery. 

  Pallbearers were Edwin Whitley, Charles Braswell, M.S. Braswell, William 
O'Berry, Lewis Chapman, Forrest W. Cobb, Harvey Brown and Emmerson Presson.
