"MOLLIE" MARY LYDIA TURNER WHITLEY 

MRS. L.H. WHITLEY 

   The people of our neighborhood was greatly shocked at the death of Mrs. 
L.H. Whitley who died at the home of her son, Mr. M.T. Whitley, last Wednesday 
night, January 21, 1925 [sic*].  She was born in the year 1851.  She leaves to 
mourn their loss two sons, L.H. and M.T. Whitley; three grandchildren.  She 
had many friends and relatives. 

   The funeral services were held in the Antioch Christian Church Friday, 
January 23, 1925.  It was conducted by Rev. W.D. Harwood [sic; Harward], 
assisted by Rev. J.M. Roberts.  Her body was laid to rest in the church 
cemetery beside her husband.

   10th Battalion VA Heavy Artillery.
