Whitley WINDSOR - Mrs. Sarah Jones Whitley, 80, died Friday at Williamsburg Community hospital after a short illness. She was the daughter of Edward C. and Oleona Andrews Jones. A native of Louisburg, N.C., she was a graduate and music major from Louisburg College and a member and former organist of the Windsor Congregational Christian Church. She lived in Windsor for 60 years and taught music in the area public and private schools for 45 years. She was the widow of Leonard Homer Whitley. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lyman L. Peters of Williamsburg, Mrs. Palmer M. Simpson of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. William A. Rainey of Wilmington, N.C.; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today (Sunday) at 2 p.m. in the Windsor Christian Church by Rev. G.A. Knauer and the Rev. W.A. Grissom. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery near Windsor. The body will be taken from the Purviance Funeral Home in Wakefield to the church at 1 p.m. today. Sarah Tallullah (JONES; Mrs. Leonard H.)
