BEULAH CHAPMAN WELLS

   Ivor - Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Chapman Wells, 62, were held Thursday 
at 2:30 p.m. in Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield, by the Rev. Lewis Harris. 
Burial was in Antioch Church Cemetery at Windsor.

   The widow of Willie P. Wells, she died Tuesday in Johnston-Willis Hospital, 
Richmond.

   She was a native of Isle of Wight County and a member of Ivor Baptist Church.

   Survivors include a son, Willie Lee Wells of Portsmouth; a daughter, Mrs. G. 
Leslie Hockman of Richmond; a sister, Mrs. Edward E. O’Berry of Wakefield; two 
brothers, Lewis Chapman of Zuni and William B. Chapman of Portsmouth; and two 
granddaughters.
