ROBERT DANIEL WALLACE 

  Robert Daniel Wallace, 49, a native of Sussex County, died Tuesday, July 1, 
1986, white vacationing at Nags Head.

  Mr. Wallace had been employed by Spencer Oil Company in Waverly for 17 
years.  He belonged to Wakefield Baptist Church and was a Navy veteran of the 
Korean War.

  Survivors include his wife, Emma Jane Buhls Wallace; a daughter, Martha 
Marie Wallace and two step-sons, Kendal Ray Buhls and Wendal Ray Buhls, all 
of Wakefield; two sisters, Frances W. Cox of Waverly and Barbara S. Burgess 
of Whitestone.

  The funeral was conducted Thursday, July 3, in Purviance Funeral Home, in 
Wakefield, by the Revs. Parker Hooper and Stephen Edwards.

  Burial was in Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery in Ivor.

   a copy, and cannot confirm it is identical with this text.

His father, Wyatt Vaughan WALLACE (900 -1945), is buried in Spring Hill 
   Christian Church Cemetery.  Find a Grave calls it Springhill Cemetery.

His widowed mother, Martha Esther (CLARK) WALLACE (1911 - 1982), 2m. 
   James Thornton SPIVEY, 29 Jul 1946 in Rocky Mount, Edgecombe Co., NC.  
   They are buried in Waverly Cemetery.  (Find a Grave Mem. #128554522 &c.)
