MATTIE NORSWORTHY WILLARD 

  Mrs. Mattie Norsworthy Willard of Rescue died Wednesday at her home 
following an illness of one week.

  The body was removed to the Roberts & Johnson Funeral Home in Smithfield. 
Funeral services were conducted Friday.

  Mrs. Willard is survived by her husband Joseph E. Willard; two sons, 
Milton of Newport News and Leland of Rescue; ne daughter Mrs. Walter Marshall, 
of Rescue, one brother, Arthur Norsworthy, of Battery Park; two sisters, Mrs. 
Robert Coldon of Norfolk and Mrs. Eva Pierce of Battery Park.
