FLOSSIE W. WINBORNE 

   HOLLAND - A funeral service for Miss Flossie W. Winborne, 74, of Rt. 1, 
Holland, was held Sunday, Jan. 21 at 3 p.m. in the W.J.M. Holland and Sons 
Funeral Home by the Rev. Timothy Langston and the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, 
Jr.

   Burial was in Beaver Dam Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were Harry W. Hill, Billy Hill, Tommy Hill, William W. 
Winborne III, Thomas W. Hill Jr. and Billy W. Hill, Jr.

   Miss Winborne died Saturday Jan. 20 at 2:35 a.m. at her residence.

  A native of Southern Pines, N.C.  She was a daughter of William Warwick 
and Mrs. Stella Beale Winborne.

  She was a member of Holland Baptist Church.  She was a teacher at the 
Holland School from 1942 until her retirement in 1964.

   She is survived by two sisters; Miss Gladys Winborne of Holland and Mrs. 
Harry Hill Sr. of Murfreesboro, N.C.; two brothers; Willie T. Winborne of 
Holland and William Warwick Winborne of Murfreesboro, N.C.
