Funeral services were conducted at the W.J.M. Holland Funeral Home, Franklin by the Rev. E.C. Thornton, pastor of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Burial was in Beaver Dam Church Cemetery. A member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, he was the son of James Harrison Wright and the late Carrie Cook Wright of Isle of Wight County, and was a veteran of World War II. Besides his father, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Cecil L. Miles of Carrsville and a brother, James DeWitt Wright of Carrsville and several nieces and nephews.
