Edwin C. Thornton Jr. W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home was in charge. Pallbearers were Edwin L. Byrum, Dr. Clem C. Crossland, John E. Rose Jr., Cecil L. Miles, William H. Rose, T.P. Eason, Elliott L. Johnson and J.L. March. Wright, 87, died Wednesday morning in a Franklin hospital after a long illness. A native of Isle of Wight County*, he was the husband of Mrs. Emily Pope Wright and a son of William Aaron and Mrs. Missouri Johnson Wright. He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Besides his widow, surviving are two daughters, Mrs. W.S. Robertson Jr. and Mrs. Robert J.H. Daughtrey, and a brother James H. Wright of Carrsville; three grandsons; and two granddaughters.
