(Special to The Times-Dispatch.) SUFFOLK, VA., June 1.-Rev. John Ward, 78 years old, a well known Baptist clergyman of Isle of Wight county, Va., was found dead in bed this morning. Rev. Mr. Ward, who was chaplain of the Calcott-Wrenn Camp of Confederate Vet- erans, delivered the prayer at Isle of Wight Courthouse Tuesday, when the Confederate monument was unveiled in the presence of 4,000 people. He was in his usual health at bed-time last night. He is survived by a widow and two sons, Dr. J. W. Ward and Robert Ward. [Rev. John WARD, d. 1 Jun 1905, "The Times-Dispatch," Richmond, VA.
