G. Thomas Brown, Jr. Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk. Pallbearers were Jimmy Goerger, Tommy Goerger, Robert Goerger, James W. Tucker, Gene Worrell, Fred Worrell, Frank Worrell and Eldridge Worrell. He died Tuesday in his home. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and was a retired farmer. He was the husband of Mrs. Adelaide Saunders Whitley Worrell. He was a member of Woodland United Methodist Church and its men’s Bible class. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Inez W. Bellflower of Windsor; three stepsons, Waverly L. Whitley of Newport News, William M. Whitley of Windsor and Garland S. Whitley of Zuni; a sister, Mrs. Helen W. Tucker of Hampton; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
