YOUNG Norfolk, Va., June 22 - Nathaniel F. Young, clerk of Isle of Wight county, died last night at his home in Isle of Wight county with appalling suddenness, aged sixty-three years.  He spent the afternoon in Smithfield, leaving there for home abut 7:30 o'clock.  Smiling and jesting with many friends whom he met, he seemed to be in perfect health, as he was in fine spirits. Shortly after he reached home he was taken ill, and Dr. Riddick was summoned from Smithfield. Before the physician could dress a message came by telephone that Mr. Young was dead.    Death is attributed to apoplexy. He left a wife, a son, twenty-one years of age, and Miss Elsie Webb Young, who on May 30th unveiled the monument erected at the courthouse to the memory of the Isle of Wight soldiers of the Confederacy who fell in battle.  Nathaniel F. Young became clerk of the county eight years ago, upon the death of his uncle, Nathaniel P. Young, who as clerk of the county for thirty years.  Nathaniel P. Young succeeded his father in the office, which has been filled by members of the Young family for a century.
