Devised January 17, 1727 Proven April 24, 1732. I Mary Body Widdow the late Wife of William Body deceased of the Isle of Wight County this 17th day of January 1727, who in perfect Health, Mind, and Memory, thanks be to God, and knowing that it is appointed for all people once to Dye, I do therefore make and ordain my last Will and Testament (that is to say), Principally and first of all, I give and bequeath my soul into the hands of God that gave it, and my Body to be buried in a Christian-like manner, and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me with in this Life, I Give and Dispose of the same in the following Manner and form. Item, I give and bequeath unto my Son-in-Law Thomas Drake and to his disposing all my whole estate of goods and moveables that I have here with me and all that I have belonging to me any wheresoever to be possessed therewith forever. Item, But as for my Daughters Mary Bragg and Judith Clark and Sarah Joiner I have given unto all of them what I think fitt heretofore which shall suffice any of my aforesaid Daughters or any of their Children from ever having any more of my Estate forever. I likewise Constitute, order, and make Thomas Drake my said Son-in-Law my only and sole executor of this my last Will and Testament, by him fully to be possessed and enjoyed, and I do hereby utterly dissolve, revoke, and disannull all and every other former Wills and Testaments by me in any way before this time named, willed, and bequeathed, ratifying and confirming this to be and no other to be my last sole will and testament.
