In the Name of God Amen, I Patience Bell of Isle of 
Wight County to weak of Body yet in perfect and sound 
mind & memory do make and ordain this to be my last 
Will and Testament in manner and for following.  My 
will and desire is that all my hole Estate it being 
of what kind soever be sold & the money arising 
thereby after my just Debts is paid.  I give and 
devise to my Daughter Elizabeth Bell to he and her 
heirs & I do appoint William Davis my hole and sole 
Executor of this my last Will and Testament.  In 
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and 
seal 20th day of May 1771.

At a Court held for Isle of Wight County April the 2nd 
1772.  The last Will and Testament of Patience Bell 
decd. was presented in Court by William Davis the exor. 
therein named who made oath thereto & being proved by 
the oaths of John Goodrich & Dorothy Davis the 
Witnesses hereto is ordered to be recorded.
