      IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN the Twentieth day of April, 1727 I Michael 
Deloach of the Ials of Wight County plantor being very sick and weak in body 
but of perfect mind and memory thanks to those forgiven unto God Calling unto 
mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all man 
once to dye to make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament.  That is to 
say first of all I give and recommend my Soul unto the hands of God that gave 
it and for my body to the Earth to be buried in a ChristianLike and decent 
manor at the discretion of my Executor nothing doubting but at the General 
Ressurrection I shall receive the same again by the Mighty Power of God and as 
touching such worldly estate is herewith it hath pleased God to bless me in 
this Life I give and dispose of the same in the following manner and form:

      IMPS….I give and bequeath to Mary my dearly beloved wife two head of 
cattle of two and three years of age and thirteen sheep young, old one doz. Of 
pewtor dishes, six pewtor plates, three iron potts, one copper pot and all my 
hoggs young and old two guns, two horses, one box, two featherbeds and 
furniture, two chests, two small tables, two sadles, two dozen of pewtor 
spoons and all the rest of my goods and chattels.  I further give to my said 
wife Mary all my lands and tenements by her freely so to possess and enjoy 
during her natural life and after her demise to my son Thomas and to his issue 
lawfully begotten and in default of such issue then my will and desire is that 
the said land shall be my son Michaels and his heirs and I do hereby 
Constitute and appoint my said wife Mary to be my only and sole Executor of 
this my Last Will and Testament.  In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my 
hand and seal the day and year above written.

      The Last Will and Testament of Michael Deloach which was presented in 
Court by Mary Deloach the Executrix therein named who made oath thereto and 
being proved by the oath of the witnesses thereto is admitted to record.
