Devised March 31, 1720. Proven June 27, 1720. In the Name of God Amen, I Jone Garrell being Very Sick and Weak but of perfect sense and memory thanks be to God for ye same, I do now make my will and Testament. Firstly I bequeath my Soul to God my maker and to Jesus Christ my Saviour and redeemer in hopes of Eternall Life and my Body to the Earth to be buried in Christian Like manner and as for my Worldly Goods I Dispose of as followeth. Item, I Give unto my Loving Son Thomas Cooke one feather Bed and Bolster, One Rug and Blankett and one holland sheet and one Brass Kettle and two Iron Wedges. Item I Give unto Elizabeth Weaver my Smoothing Iron and two C___ and one pewter Dish. Item, I Give unto Joannah Burah one Large Suit of Clothes. Item, I Give unto my Loving Son Wm Cooke two pewter Dishes and half a Crown ____ Currant Money. Item, I Give unto John Carrell one yo[ung] [m]are which Runs at Thomas Cooks. Item I Give unto Henry Cooke one Gun which is at Thos. Cooks. And as for ye Rest of my Estate I do _____ Voluntarily Give unto my Loving Son Reubin Cooke my full and Wholly Exr for Ever against all person or persons as shall lay any Claime or Tytle Whatsoever as Witness my hand and Seal this 30 Day of March 1720.
