     I Thomas GROSS beinge Sicke & Weake in body, but in p/fectt Sence & 
     Memorie, doe make, this my last Will & Testam:t In the Name of God Amen, 
     Item  I Will & bequeath Unto my Eldest Sonne William GROSS, & to my 
youngest Sonne Francis GROSS; a p/cell of land, W.ch I now live Uppon on the 
westward Side of the Swamp, that runns by my orchard; fence Side w.th the 
houseings & orchard belonginge Unto it, To them & their heires for ever; 
Item  I will & bequeath, Unto my Sonne Thomas GROSSE a p/cell of land, W.ch 
lieth on the other Side of the Swamp Unto him & his heires for ever; 
And if either of my Sonnes dye w.th out issue, his part, to be Equally 
devided, the other two; 
Item  I will & bequeath Unto my Eldest Sonne W.m GROSS, two heiffers, of two 
yeare old; one black & White, & the other red & White on em'ked 
Item  I Will & bequeath, Unto my Sonne Tho: GROSS; one redd Cow, & one blacke 
& White heiffeir & one redd steer about two or three yeares of Age, 
Item  I Will & bequeath, Unto my youngest Sonne Francis, GROSS one Cowe, W.ch 
is Named Starr; & one redd heiffeir , of two years old; 
Item  I Will & bequeath; Unto my Eldest daughter, Susana GROSSE one Silver 
Spoone, 
Item  I will & bequeath, Unto my youngest daughter; Mary GROSS, a goulde 
ringe, & two pewter dishes and one pewter Bason; 
Item  I give & bequeath; Unto my deere & lo: Wife Susana GROSS, the third of 
my land, for her life, & the rest of my estate; payinge my debts; 
& I doe make my deere & lo: Wife, my Executrix, & administrato:r to this my 
last will & Testam:t 
as Witt's my hand this 27.th day of February 1674 [1674/5]
