Isle of Wight County, VA - Wills - Will of Anthony HOLLIDAY February 7, 1782 ************ Isle of Wight County, VA Will Book 9 Page 107 In the name of God Amen, I Anthony Holliday, of the County of Isle of Wight and Parish of Newport being in sound sense and proper memory do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following. Item I give and bequeath to Holland Holliday one bed and furniture I give and bequeath one gun to my son Anthony Holliday. Item I gave my queath to my loving wife Marah Holliday all my estate both real and personal during her widowhood. Item I gave my Queath my plantation and my still to my son John Holliday after the death of my wife. Item I gave my queath and gave all my estate both real and personal to my four youngest children. I leave Marah Holliday to be the executrix of my estate this 15th day of February, 1781. This will was presented in Court by Mary Holliday the executrix therein named who made oath thereto according to law and the same being proved by the oaths of William Bagnall and Samuel Holliday, the witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded and on the motion of said executrix who together with Hezekiah Holliday, her security entered into and acknowledged their bond in the penalty of five thousand pounds current money with conditions as the law directs.
