Isle of Wight County, VA - Wills - Calvin D. HOLLIDAY [HOLLADAY] 5 Sep 1898 ----¤¤¤---- Isle of Wight Co., VA, Will Book 33, page 384 Will of Calvin D. Holladay In the name of God Amen. I. Calvin D. Holliday of the county of Isle of Wight in the State of Virginia being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and declare this to be my last will and testament, thereby revoking all former wills by me any time heretofore made. 1st, my will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall by my administrator hereinafter named be paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as by him be found convenient. I give and bequeath unto my sons Walter J. and Calvin D., Jr., the farm upon which I now reside they to share and share alike. I give also to said Walter J. and Calvin D. Holliday, Jr. all the chattle property of every description now owned by me. And it is my wish that they remain together on said farm and in consideration of this gift of my personal and real Estate, the said beneficiaries are to maintain and support their Mother, Martha F. Holliday and should they fail so to do, then the said Martha F. Holliday is to have one third of all real and personal property owned by me during her natural life and at her death to go to the said Calvin D., Jr. and Walter J. Holliday. 2. I give to my son Robert L. Holliday, three hundred dollars to be paid to him within twelve months after my demise. Why I give him only three hundred dollars is because I have already made provision for him by giving him a thousand dollars or more. I hereby appoint my son Walter J. Holliday my sole Executor and it is my wish that he be required to give no security. In witness whereof I the said Calvin D.
