[underlined] I, Walter J. Holladay, Sr., of Isle of Wight County, Virginia, being of sound and disposing mind, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all wills by me at any time heretofore made: FIRST: I desire and direct that all of my just debts be paid, if I shall owe any at my death. If I shall not have sufficient money at the time of my death to pay my debts, I direct that so much of my personal property as may be necessary be converted into cash for the payment of the same, and that none of my real estate be sold for this purpose, unless my personal estate shall not be sufficient to pay my said debts. SECOND: I give, devise, and bequeath unto my wife, Betty M. Holladay, for and during the term of her natural life, all of my property, real, personal and mixed, it being my intention that she shall have a life estate therein. THIRD: Upon the death of my wife, Betty M. Holladay, I give, devise, and bequeath all of my said property, absolutely and in fee simple, to my three children, Walter J. Holladay, Jr., Carlton E. Holladay and Edward N. Holladay, in equal portions. FOURTH: I hereby nominate and appoint my son, Carlton E. Holladay, of Wakefield, Sussex County, Virginia, executor of this my last will and testament with full power and authority to execute the same according to its true and intended meaning, and having perfect confidence in his judgment and integrity, I direct that the said executor shall not give security. Given under my hand and seal this 5th day of September, 1941. Walter J.
