Will of Talbot Hall Harrison, 1900 - Isle of Wight Co. VA Will Book 33 Page 584 I, T. H. Harrison being of sound mind do make this my last will and testament. I desire that after my death my entire estate, both real and personal be the property of my wife, Mary Frances so long as she lives to remain as near as it now is as possible and after her death I desire and request that after paying all of my just debts that the balance of my estate both real and personal be divided as follows. I give to my daughter Martha Sarah if she is then living & if she is dead at that time to her children to be equally divided between them the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) and I give to the children of my daughter William Etta, to be equally divided between them, the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) and I give to my son Ryland all of my cattle and farming implements, and I give to my son Mills, Jim, Ryland, George and Lee the balance of my estate both real and personal after paying my son Jim and Ryland for their services in settling my estate. I further desire that my sons Jim and Ryland be allowed to administer on my estate & and settle it as above set forth paying the respective amounts of money as above mentioned to each party themselves as it belongs & through no other hands. Having already given unto my son John D. and my daughter Angus Etta all I field right they should have of my estate I make no other provisions for them.
