Amen I Robert King sen.r in the Isle of Wight County being at this time in p/fect Memory thro' the Mercy of God do make this my last Will & Testament in manner & form as followeth, (that is to say) Item. I Give to my three Sons Robert & Henry & Samuel all my lands & Tenements where I now live to them and their Heirs lawfully begotten forever to be equaly divided my Son Robert to have the Mannour Plantation they not to Sell to none but to one another Item. I Give to my Son Arthur all my Lands in the Woods lying by Cap: Henry Applewhait to him and his Heirs for ever lawfully begot Item. I Give to my Daughter Sarah Weston a ["Young Mare" struck] and two Cows & Sheep Item. I Give all the rest of my Estate to be equaly divided with Negro Judy amongst my four Sons Robert Henry Samuel & Arthur. I also make & constitute my Son Robert sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament. When the will was probated in 1725, Arthur's inheritance "descended to Robert (Jr)" because of the death of Arthur King (my line). He may have actually died in 1694.
