MUNFORD [MUMFORD] will, 1 Aug 1903 (proved 7 Mar 1904) [p.] 749 Examined and Verified [stamped in margin] I Edith Mumford of Isle of Wight County Virginia, do make this my last will and testament. 1.st It is my desire that my daughter Anna Johnson exchange her interest in the tract known as the home place said to Contain forty Acres, for my interest in the parcel of land adjoining said home place, said parcel of land said to Contain one hundred Acres this being the land purchased from Dempsey Watkins, and if she will agree to this exchange then I bequeath all my interest in the said home place to my husband Zachariah Mumford, but should my daughter Anna Johnson not agree to exchange then I bequeath unto my husband Zachariah Mumford all my interest in the said Dempsey Watkins tract or parcel of land. 2.nd I bequeath unto my son W.m H. Johnson, One bed and chest, one table, and I desire that either my husband, Zachariah Mumford, or my daughter Anna Johnson, Whichever may own the Dempsey Watkins tract of land, shall pay unto my son, the said W.m H. Johnson, the sum of one hundred dollars in Cash as soon after my death as may be convenient. 3.rd I desire that Whatever other property, including money, I may own at the time of my death, be equal- ly divided between my husband Zachariah Mumford and my daughter Anna Johnson.
