Isle of Wight County Virginia USGenWeb Archives Wills William MORRISSON [MORRISON], will, 1802 (1803) In the name of God amen, I William Morrisson of the County of Isle of Wight and State of Virginia do Constitute and ordain This to be my last will and Testament in the following Manner, I[n] the first place I lend unto my wife Elizabeth Morrisson during her natural life the whole of the plantation whereon I now live also Negro man dick, woman Rose & man Will & I also lend her during her natural life the whole of my household and kitchen furniture, Plantation utensils and Stock of every description including Still and pitch kettle after the death of my wife Elizabeth Morrisson I Give & devise unto my two sons James and Pitt Morrisson the whole of the plantation whereon I now live and which I purchased of Christopher Dickinson to them and their Heirs forever [5 Nov 1772, Christopher DICKINSON & wife to W.m MORRISON, Deed Book 13, p. 9] and Should either die before they arrive to the age of twenty one years of age it is my Will and desire that their part Shall be Equally devided between my two Sons William and George Morrisson to them and their Heirs forever, hoes, to her own disposal for ever _ and at her death to dispose of her Estate as it Suits her _ I Give and devise unto my son Pitt Morrisson a Negroe boy Called Joe to him and his Heirs forever, I Give and devise unto my son James Morrisson one Negroe Boy Called Jacob to him and his Heirs forever I Give and devise unto my Grand daughter Peggy Allmand daughter of James Allmand, one negro girl Called Beck to her and her Heirs forever, I Give and bequeath unto my grand Sons Elisha Uzzell, Thomas Uzzell & Morrisson Uzzell to each [page break] [p.] 723 of them five pounds to be paid by my Executor to each of them as they arrive to the age of twenty one years of age I Give and bequeath unto daughter Margaret Joyner wife of Thomas Joyner, the sum of five Shillings to her and her Heirs forever, it is my will and desire that that part of my Estate which is not already devised after the death of my Wife be equally devided between my sons John, William, James, George and Pitt Morrisson to them and their Heirs forever, I Constitute my Sons William and James Morrisson whole and sole Executors to this my last will and testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this twenty Eight day of September one thousand eight hundred and two ~ Signed pudlished and - - -} declared to be in presence} W.m Morrisson *Seal* of - - - - - - - - - - - -} James B.
