In the name of God  Amen  I ann PIERCE of ye Lower p'ish of ye Isle of ["Wight 
County"] being Very Sick ['&'] weak in Body but of Sound & p'fect memory tha 
["-nks be to almigh-"] ty God for ['the same'] I Do hereby make & ordain this 
my Last will an ["-d testament in"] manner and form as followeth - 
Imprimis  I give & bequeath my Soul unto ye hands of almighty God the 
['Creator, trusting {?}] to his Son Jesus Christ my Mediator and Redeemer in 
hopes ["to Re-"] -ceive free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins and my 
["Body I Commit"] to ye Earth from whence it was takenand there to be buried 
in a Christian and Decent manner at ye Discretion of my Ex.r - . 
first  I Give & bequeath unto John KEIGHLEY ye plantation that ['I now live 
upon' {?}] for Seven yeares and at ye End of Seven Yeares I give it to John 
KEIGHLEY's Son John and to his heires for Ever. . . 
2.ly  I give unto Patience CARVER as much Virginia Cloth ["as"] will make her 
two pette Coates and two waste Coates. . . 
3.ly  I give unto John KEIGHLEY all my Whole movable Estate within and without 
to him and his heires for Ever after my Lawfull Debts and funerall Charges 
payd moreover I Do make John KEIGHLEY my Whole Ex.r 
I Do acknowledge this to be my Last will and Testament Revoking all other 
wills as witness my hand this 14.th Day of March 1718/19
