VA Isle of Wight Co., VA, Will Book 8, pp. 269-70 abstracted by Matt HARRIS [brackets, line breaks, & surname capitalization mine] [margin note] W.m RAIFORD's Will.} In the name of God, amen I William RAIFORD, of the County of Isle of Wight being in Perfect Health and Memory do think fit to make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form as followeth Viz;t Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary BOON one Shilling, Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Ann LITTLE one Shilling Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah BOON one Shilling Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Rebecca RAIFORD my Negro Girl named Bett and her Increase, Item I leave the Rest of my Estate to be Sold and the Money ariseing to be equally Divided between my three Daughters Rebecca RAIFORD Martha RAIFORD and my Daughter Damaris GAY and I do constitute and appoint my Friend James BRIDGER Lawrence WHITEHEAD and my Daughter Rebecca RAIFORD my whole and Sole Executors to see this my last Will and Testament Fulfilled and I do hereby revoke and Disannul all former Wills by me made or caused to be made In Witness whereof I have Hereunto Set my Hand and Seal this 28.th Day of October 1771.
